For me painting will always be a journey into the unknown. I have painted many things but never seem to tire painting the path. I ask myself why? I guess because many times I get lost into thinking I must paint in my own or others preconceived ways. The path somehow reminds me to come back to that freedom of expression. When we allow ourselves to take an unfamiliar path we never know what lies ahead or around the bend. It is important to keep moving but also to take time to look around and enjoy our surroundings.
